Edison Walk & Roll encourages exercise, community, and safe walking and biking through our programs. We kick off with International Walk & Roll to School Day each October and wrap up with Bike to School Day in May. Walk & Roll partners with Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools to bring educational materials, assemblies, and the BikeMobile to our community.

For many families, biking and walking to school is relatively easy, especially if you follow the recommended routes. We encourage all families to sit together with the map to highlight their students' routes to school and review the walking and bicycling tips.
