Earth Day is celebrated in the US on April 22nd, and is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment. Every year Edison Go Green aims to organize and provide a week of events to celebrate Earth Day.

- Mon 4/22 - Edison Go Green Assembly – ALL GRADES
- Take Care of the Earth - Slide Show
- 5th Grade Waste Audit Awards for ALL GRADES
- Students lead Edison’s “Place the Waste Quiz Show”
- Tues 4/23 - Zero Waste Lunch Day
- Get your hand-stamped and photo taken when you bring a Zero Waste Lunch to school OR buy a lunch and sort it really, really well (3-stream)
- Wed 4/24 - Recycle Cart Morning (8-8:20)
- Get your hand-stamped for bringing in your household Recyclables
- Thurs 4/25 - Lunchtime Poster Painting
- Come paint about all your wishes for our green planet

- Fri 4/26 - Go Green Spirit Day – WEAR GREEN!!
